Terms of Service

Synoppy provides an API to read, crawl, map, extract, classify, and enrich public web data. We may add, change, or deprecate features; we'll give reasonable notice of breaking changes.

You're responsible for your account and for keeping your API keys secret. You may not share keys publicly. Activity under your keys is your responsibility. We store keys only as hashes and can't recover a lost key — revoke and create a new one.

• Respect target sites' terms, robots directives, and applicable law; only fetch content you're permitted to access.
• No fetching of private, gated, or unlawful content, and no use that infringes others' rights.
• No attempts to overwhelm the API, bypass rate limits or credit metering, or resell raw access as a competing API.

We may suspend accounts that abuse the service or put it at risk.

Paid plans are billed through our payment processor on a recurring basis. Each plan includes a monthly credit allotment that refills on your billing day; upgrades take effect immediately and downgrades at the end of the current period. Credits have no cash value and don't roll over. You can manage or cancel your plan anytime from the customer portal.

You own the data you retrieve through the API, subject to the rights of the underlying sites. We own the Synoppy software, brand, and documentation. Our open-source SDKs and MCP server are licensed under their stated licenses (MIT).

The service is provided “as is.” Web content changes and third-party sites can be unavailable, so we don't guarantee completeness or uptime beyond any plan-specific target. To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the amount you paid in the prior three months.
